"I'm a polo widow. It's my life. I live next to a polo field," sighed Cosima Pavoncelli before heading off to watch England beat New Zealand 9-7 for the Coronation Cup at the annual Cartier International Polo day at Windsor Great Park.Pavoncelli, who was there with her polo-loving husband Riccardo, proved to be one of the few experts under the Cartier marquee Sunday afternoon. Most guests, including Juliette Lewis, Mischa Barton, Margo Stilley, Tom Aitkens, Hugh Dancy, Matthew Williamson, Christopher Bailey, and Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs were there to soak up the sunshine and the Bellinis."I don't know a lot about polo, so my big question this morning was, 'What do I wear?'" said Stilley, who showed up in a white Fendi knit skirt and top. "I'm clearly not doing the outfit justice, though," she added, pointing to her chest. "I left my boobs at home in L.A."Prince Harry standing in for his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II, who's on holiday in Scotland handed England's captain Luke Tomlinson the top prize. Earlier that day, the prince accepted his own trophy after the Prince of Wales team beat Hurlingham 7-6. The young prince spent the rest of the day with his gal, Chelsy Davy."There's a whole English phenomenon going on here it's so social," said Lewis, who watched the match from the royal box, along with her mother Glenis Batley. "My father's ex-wife used to play polo, and we kept ponies at the house in California so the polo I know is much more cowboy."The previous day in Watermill, N.Y., it was shopping that the social set undertook as sport at Super Saturday 9. "The best way to make money for a good cause is to have people buy clothes," said Donna Karan of the event she hosted, along with In Style's Charla Lawhon and Kelly Ripa, to benefit The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. The 9th annual sale featured deeply discounted clothing and accessories from over 200 designers ranging from Marc Jacobs to Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors to Gucci, where leather totes, fur-trimmed handbags and slinky dresses were being snapped up at lightning speed by the likes of Beth Ostrosky, who came with a gal pal instead of beau Howard Stern. "I brought him last year and it was a nightmare shopping with him," she said. Nearby, Shoshanna Gruss tried on a Chanel suit underneath a sign that read "If you are not a size 0, 2, or 4, please do not try on clothing." Other shoppers included Molly Sims, Christy Turlington, Charlotte Ronson, Heather Mnuchin, Alex Kramer, Rachel Zoe, Edie Falco, Barbara Walters and Carey Lowell. By the end of the day, $2.4 million had been raised with nary a catfight.
